At the 2019 American Association of Petroleum Geologists meeting in San Antonio, David Wavrek received the DPA Heritage Award. This is granted to an individual who has excelled in the field of petroleum geology and through their endeavors has inspired and mentored others. All those who have been mentored by David at Petroleum Systems International, Inc. and throughout his time as a professor have been fortunate in the opportunity to learn from his experience and perspective.
